Greatest achievements
In 2024, I was nominated for the "New Marketing Talent of the Year" award at the Veterinary Marketing Association awards. This recognition came as a result of my innovative approach to marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, where I successfully led campaigns that not only captured attention but also delivered valuable insights to veterinarians and pet owners. My dedication to exploring multiple marketing channels, implementing innovative ideas, and maintaining a data-driven approach helped me to earn the nomination.

Be Curious. A lot of people are 'lucky" - but what I have noticed is that the best opportunities arrive when we are curious and pay attention to what is around us. Learn something that doesn't directly relate to what you are doing. Many of my chances came because I was open to learning more about something, and then was prepared to take advantage of the opportunity when it arrived. Curious people tend to build stronger relationships, partly they ask genuine questions. They tend to understand things more, because they ask until they figure things out. I also find them to have better attitudes and be more fun to work with.

I would have missed a great opportunity to come to work feeling radiant every day, if I had closed myself off to new things, that seemed outside my field of study. Move freely among the different areas of the company, be ready to help, and when asked for help, go above and beyond. And always follow through on what you agree to do! Be someone others can trust, have empathy, and never get stuck in 'it's always been done this way.' It's like becoming a problem solver, the kind of person you'd want on your team, someone you can trust to get things done. Roll up your sleeves and don't be fussy!
